The ENM contributes to the international fight against terrorism

The ENM offers training courses countries on the fight against terrorism for judges and prosecutors from other countries with the aim of expanding international cooperation in this field. On the occasion of the National Day of Tribute to the Victims of Terrorism on 11 March 2022, here is an overview of the School's current actions and partnerships in the anti-terrorism field.

Radicalisation and terrorism: Important subjects for the ENM

Over the last few years, ENM has developed a substantial number of courses on radicalisation and terrorism aimed at both generalist and specialist judges and prosecutors, as well as organising exchanges of practices with foreign judges and prosecutors, especially in Europe. According to ENM Director Nathalie Roret, "these are high-stakes and very topical issues at a moment when the trials relating to the 13 November 2015 and Saint-Étienne-du-Rouvray terrorist attacks are in progress, when the School has been training the judicial experts in charge of dealing with the victims of terrorism since 2021." An update on how the offer on these themes has evolved with Samuel Lainé and Élie Renard, Deputy Directors of the ENM.
